How do you thread the antenna telecommunication from the roof to the CB inside the vehicle? Do you drill a hole contained by the roof

I don't want to have to drill a hole within my roof to get the antenna through. Help! I'm kinda a noob on the CB subject.


Answers:    Roof of what? There are magnet mounts that can be put on a roof and the line run in a door as the rubber door gasket will not hurt the cable. On some pick-me-up trucks, you can run the cable contained by the rear pane. All roof mounts do require a hole in the roof though. If you use a magnet mount, coat the bottom of the magnet beside a liberal amount of Vaseline, both to act as a moisture hurdle and to prevent rust to the roof. If it is on a SUV or van, run the wire into the shipment door.
Of course, you should drill a real big hole so it's smooth to get it through the roof.
