What is the failure to pay aspect ratio for the motarolla cable box?

the screen looks really sharp not like it did until that time in other words

Answers:    Google the model number for actual specifications. However, unless the box is specifically intended for HD use, it's probably 4:3 to work beside the majority of normal television. There may be a setting to use with widescreen tvs, which would increase the aspect ratio to 16:9.

Realize that widescreen TVs habitually have different ways to 'fake' a 4:3 signal to widescreen, and that may be what your TV is doing.

Getting broadcast cable to look correctly on my large plasma took for a while tweaking of settings too, on both my cable box AND my TV. Try to get a hold of the specifications and owners encyclopaedia for both the TV and cable box, that may help you the fastest.

Hope that help some, best to you.

Tim
