Hello i've gone through 3 chinese coffeemakers in a month! Black and decker, mr coffee, adjectives used to be reliable. The worst thing beside the B&D was it be $80 bucks, and has a bent spring they let somebody know me? It splatters coffee all over the dining room, and even beside a new cut i'm scared to even use it! I see the Bunn maker are over a hundred; yet adjectives of these are made in Asia in a minute, and in my assessment the S word. Does any avid coffee drinker actually enjoy a drip maker that have held up for a few months? I'm disabled, and right now most of my $$ is going towards Christmas gifts. I really call for help! I've spent nearly a hundred of late in shipping I want it to be at smallest 8 cups, because I'm a book writer, and sip on it while I write. Thanks ever so much, and God bless ya!
Answers: Tell me about it. Between coffeemakers and toasters, I almost had it beside Chinese-made appliances. I'm now using an weak chrome-plated Toastmaster toaster that's been contained by the family since the 1950's and will probably still be toasting correct toast in 2050. Fortunately, I also found a 1970's-era waffle initiator at a thrift shop about 15 years ago. As for drip coffeemakers, I've resigned myself to buying the cheap $8-10 Chinese ones until I can find a fully clad one. Used coffeemakers can be pretty grungy, but there is special coffeemaker cleaner that miraculously removes even built-up coffee stains. I get some from a commercial coffee service company that services businesses. It's a blue liquid contained by a small clear squeeze bottle. If you can find an old, reliable coffeemaker at a thrift shop and verbs it up with some of that stuff, you should be set for years.
