I am not getting nouns from my HD DVD player. It have worked up to that time, can it be my HDMI cable?

My player is a Toshiba HD DVD Player - HDA2, connected to a Westinghouse HDTV. I have watch hd and non hd movies on it for about a week, and lately today, the sound stopped working. My TV and ps2 both work. I'm running the components through: PS - YPbPr1, and my dvd player through the HDMI - no other wiring save for the HIDMI cable, but it has worked previously. Any suggestions?

Answers:    You changed the audio output settings of your DVD player from PCM to Dolby Digital or DTS. Make sure it is it PCM.
