i'm not sure if this is possible but we have loads of domestic videos that we used to play on our VCR. Recently the VCR broke and i be wondeirng if you could put the material on the video onto dvds/CD so that we could watch them on a computer and DVD player. If anyone know if this is possible or if you can take it to a specilist to do??

If they are home video it is easily done near a VCR/DVDR combo. I just bought a Toshiba model that does a great post of it. (Won't work with most studio movies though). Specialty photography stores will usually also this service also.
