BUT , if your tv individual has one scart socket.. you can buy a scart splitter.. so the tv have up to 4 inputs.. lots of places sell them .. between lb5-10..
so you would put the dvd on one of them, and the vhs and the scart tv out from the freeview to the 2nd bit of the scart splitter.
that leaves 2 secondary scarts for game hobby consoles etc =)
as for tuning... look for your AV/aux button on your tv remote..
you should see maybe a setup blind for the freeview box..
or switch the freeview on, there should be a menu or guide button, thats how u know ur on the frreeview waterway.. go into setup and re-scan.. to find unsullied channels =)
to journal to vhs.. switch the tv onto the video channel
switch the vcr onto av/aux again..
