Why is it that when I keep watch on a bluray dvd on my 1080set, I own black boxes...?

but the same movie on HBO fill the screen and is 16:9 ratio? How do I convert them like peas in a pod where I don't hold the damn black boxes?

Answers:    is your set 1080i or 1080p it makes a difference when playing blu gleam
You're watching a movie that says "cavernous screen" on the front or back of the suitcase at the bottom. Wide screen DVDs are DVDs where on earth they have added the black boxes at the top and bottom so you can see the together image on a 4x3 set. You entail DVDs that say "full screen" or "16 x 9". Not logical, but that's how it is.

Also, turn into your DVD players setup menu and make sure that 16x9 is elected and not 4x3.

For now, you can adaptation the aspect ratio on the TV to expand the picture. This somewhat reduce the model quality and my distort the picture some.

Good Luck!
