How could I mod Jumper Cables to power a small device to launch for a time bottle-rocket?

I would like to use vehicle jumpers to bounce a little rocket into blasting past its sell-by date, as a project. Can anyone with electrical expertise explain to me how one could accomplish such a point?


Answers:    Hobby shops sell electric ignitors for model rockets. They are inserted into the rocket motor nozzle and provide two wires that extend from the nozzle. A model rocket launch system have long wires that clip onto the ignitor's wires. I suppose you could do the same item using car pullover cables, but they are overkill for the application. I used to use tiny 24-gauge speaker line for my model rocket launch system, and it worked fine. Also, the ignitor wires are small, so the huge clips on the jumper cable would be much too big. Even if you removed the huge clips, it would be hard to solder small clips to the strapping gauge cable of the jumper cable.
