What are some uncomplicated tips for playing collection on a Philco text player?

I recently purchased a Philco transcription player, but I can't for the life of me numeral out how to play a record. The stylus functions, as I tested it by placing it on the text and manually rotating the record, which produced some nouns. The unit powers on correctly.

Exact model of my Philco narrative player: http://columbus.craigslist.org/ele/44443...

Main problem: record does not rotate.
Thanks!

Answers:    The player is contemporary enough to hold a BELT DRIVE turntable. Either the belt has broken / slipped past its sell-by date or the speed selector is not set correctly. You may also want to check stylus pressure and the needle. Heavy pressure and worn needles at full tilt wreck a vinyl collection....
