A friend bought me an electric typewriter from a thift store today. I only mentioned getting a typewriter once. Im a bit wierd give or take a few it, because I travel alot and this thing is similar to a monster. I meant to bring back a manual one, near an actual case so I could hold it along with me well, and not haul it. Also, I've hear that electric typewriter ribbons are rarer than manual, and I plan to write greatly. Should I quit being so paraniod and lately use it (its my first one) or should I quit being paraniod and return with what I want?
Answers: The ribbons for electric typewriters are not as hard to find as you reflect. As far as taking it with you, you can, some models are starchy beasts, and some are lighter.
Mainly purely be glad to have friend that considers others when out on the town junkin.
