Should I stop buying dvds? (dvd vs. blue shaft of light etc question)?

This, coming from someone who doesn't know much about this kindof piece...
It hasn't been masses years since we had to replace adjectives our videos next to dvds...is it likely that pretty soon will enjoy to replace all our dvds near something else? I know some people are buying blue stream stuff, but is it likely to lock in on? Is buying dvds now not worth it?

Answers:    If you enjoy an HD TV, then it's worth the ~$400 for a Bluray player. Also, don't buy an HD DVD player since Bluray is the adjectives.
personally i would keep on before swapping totally over to blueray. in attendance are 2 very distinct market out at the mo (blueray and hd) and i'm not sure which way the bazaar will swing!

i think it will be rather a while before the standard dvd is moved out, so nought to worry more or less in the short possession. also another thing they will enjoy to overcome is the high prices of the blueray/hd... these will definately necessitate to come down before relatives make the transition.

my proposal is to hold your horses.
Hold your horses! no company has officialy "won" the format period of war... You could keep buying DVDs if you already enjoy a DVD player!
