The street performance units are great for direction finding within terms of streets and highway. Some are more user friendly than others
I have tried using a street GPS for geocaching. I done up watching the corridnates contunually changing as i ramble.
I found that a standard GPS used by hikers, hunters ets be much better for this. You simply input the coordinates and go to the location. You can achieve fancy and use one complete with topographical map if you like.
