110volts device plugged to 220volts socket?
Answers: You could attempt to plug the device posterior into a 110v outlet to see if it works.
More than likely, however, the devices is ineradicably damaged. The inside circuitry of a device operate at certain voltages, which are converted from the input voltage. If too dignified of an input voltage is applied, the resulting circuit operating voltage would also be increased. If this voltage is higher than the circuits can fiddle with, the circuitry would get tatty.
For future citation, I would suggest checking your device for a voltage selector switch. While some devices can accommodate dual voltage, others must have the voltage special to prevent damage.
you couldve blown a breaker, adjectives out the outlet completely and probably shorted out your "device" completely so i dont think itll be much moral to you...id guess that the "device" is overcooked and immediately broken, good luck sparky!!
