What Brand of wide-ranging remote beside work near my Sylvania TV Model Number SST4132?

I have tried the brand RCA, and Philips they both didn't work...I am getting massively frustrated, and I do not want to wait a month (or more!) to carry a new remote from Sylvania.

Answers:    A lot of brands of TVs use matching set of codes for their remotes. Unfortunately, Sylvania codes appears to be unique (i.e., not shared by other manufacturers). While some global remotes might include Sylvania codes, you'd have to follow the programming instructions precisely to hold any hope that they would work. Another alternative would be to get a TV-B-Gone complete remote (http://www.tvbgone.com), as it sends out every TV's code every time you use it. The downside of TV-B-Gone is that it only works as an on/off button, and does not move channels, volume, mute, etc.
