I have a bit scanner that I got from Radio Shack to use at Nascar tracks. I newly moved from topeka where I picked up lots of radio traffic most of it from the PD or Fire Department. I own since moved to a smaller town probably 1/5th the size of Topeka and now its not picking up anything. Anyone enjoy any ideas? It go from picking up everything to picking up nothing and surly nearby has to be some radio traffic here!

. Can you clutch it to a larger city just to check if it's still working? Battery operate?
IF it's working, it must be on the wrong frequencies. Maybe the local Radio Shack would have some design. Take it to 'em.
