What is difference betwen 2way and 3way speaker, and which is the best?

Answers:    2-way, high-freq and mid-freq, mid-freq also handles some of the bass.
3-way, high-freq, mid-freq, low-freq.

Unless you're prepared to spend a LOT of money on expensive 3-way speakers, probably appropriate 2-way speakers will perform better for you. Cheap 3-ways cut corners and lose exactly the benefits that they are supposed to provide.

It also depends on your listen location. Unless you have a room designed for listen pleasure, 3-ways again will do little for you. Other furniture will absorb profusely of the sound and you'll be wager on to 2-way performance. Glass window will also vibrate beside performance speakers, so again....

*Just read the previous comment and he's right. The components are call Tweeter (hi) Midrange (mid) and Woofer (lo). In 2-ways, usually there is basically a larger speaker and a smaller one.
In a 2 way you usually enjoy a mid-range and a tweeker to cover your highs, mids, and lows these are ok for shelf systems or cheapy sports car systems but certainly not the best, a 3 method usually consists of a woofer, tweeter, and a midrange covering all 3 through frequancy bands. At the downfall of the day it adjectives depends on the design of the speaker, box, and the vocal meticulousness of the speakers themselves.
