Why is here a rush to replace DVD technology?

For most consumers, DVD will be good plenty for years to come because the picture quality is still moderately remarkable compared to VHS. The increase in picture element from DVD to HD-DVD/Blu-ray is noticable, but the drive to displace DVD is premature.


Answers:    i am more than happy near dvd, and aint gonna be upgrading for quite a few years nonetheless. i just updated my video collection to dvd and have costed a fortune. its just companies self greedy. personally i dont see much a difference anyway. it is same near the lcd screens. i prefer my mature tv
theres no reason to transformation formats...simply use dvd as usual and then be in motion with one of the other HD formats any HD-DVD or blue ray. you can afterwards have the best of both worlds that channel. thats wht iam doing as i prefer choice with my viewing so i will be getting a HD-DVD player and using my middle-of-the-road dvd player. there is a infinite difference between normal dvds and HD the specs speak for themselves really but try watching 300 on commonplace dvd and then on HD or blueray and next come back and notify me theres no difference
