How would use a resistor that has unreliable amount of a resistance to control amount of current in a circuit, endow with an example of where this might be use?

Answers:    Use the resistor to control the brightness of a bulb.

Wire a flashlight bulb within series with the undependable resistor and a small battery. As you change the resistance, the bulb will change surrounded by brightness; lower resistance = more current = brighter bulb.
