for my bro who is on the top bunk and gets up early than the person below him. he doesn't want to own to climb down the ladder to turn rotten the alarm, and doesn't want to wake up the sleeping soul. there is evidently no room for a regular clock, maybe a wristwatch or a clock you could suspend on the wall? anything?

Sometimes I use my cell phone as an alarm clock. Most enjoy it, and boy do they work. Just have him slip it underneath his pillow he'll be able to hear it deffinately and it will be slightly muffled so that you don't enjoy to hear the annoying ringtone so early within the morning.
