[Help] burning movie surrounded by a dvd?

I want to compile my anime's in a dvd impose my HD's nearly full. Trouble is whenever I try to burn them (as movie in single cloak dvd using nero 7), I can only place 4 episodes per dvd. This could be a common thing but I see closely of dvd's that can have as much as 25 episodes (as movie) per dvd (compression is out of examine since I actually ripped and compared the files on one of those dvd's next to the files I have and they're the same). I if truth be told think that those dvd's might be dual layered as a consequence with single division I could have as much as 10 (approx) episodes per dvd instead of newly 4 episodes. Now I consider burning them as data but be thinking why not burn them as movie so I can watch them within another player. I read that there are players that can read movies burned as background (something about divx compat players), ably my player is not. Any suggestions? What I want to achieve here is to minimize dvd's I will be using for compiling my anime's. Thanks ^_^

Most commercial burning programs will single fit 2 hours of media. 'DVD Architect' uses user elected compression, you can fit another hour on those DVD's if you are smart about compression. Most downloaded tv is a lower competence anyway and it always bugs me when programs want to resize up to 720x480 but that's the method most burners work. Dual layer will dispense you 2x the files, but they are tricky to burn and some burners won't support them.

But yes you can fit an entire season of TV in a DIVX record but you need a chip contained by your DVD player to decode the stream.

*DVD Architect and Vegas Video work together to author DVD's, I dont suppose they have any trials available, the suite is liscenced from Sony.
