When I go to journal from vhs to dvd in my dvd recorder it say I have an incorrect disc and to insert a recordable disc. But I put within a DVD-R what I normally use, not surrounded by this machine, and it other works. What am I doing wrong?
Answers: If the DVD recorder records with the sole purpose DVD+R and DVD+RW discs then using a DVD-R disc would make happen this message.
Other reasons would be a dilapidated disc, wrong brand of disc for this machine (cheaper machines own more problems with disc medium that is cheap, stick to Sony, Maxell...But avoid Memorex), or wrong region disc (US disc surrounded by UK recorder or some such situation as that).
try using any other dvd-r disck with different a brand
