im replacing a capacitor on a circet board and i have the correct one i deliberate but the old one 1500uF10v and latest one is the same but the mark on the side the solid line for negitive,(neg i think) on the ancient on have arrows pointing down whil the solid flash on the new one have ovels and no arrows. dies this mean any entry? or should that be right to use it?
Answers: It appears that the "0" markings are the negative head side.
Positive is also denoted by a longer lead than the refusal.
As long as the values are the same you should be fine, if near is a stripe at all consequently that indicated your negative pole, 0's are sometimes also used within the computer industry to denote a negative pole.
