Has anybody got any belief of which high- def. system is going to take stale .. either Blu-ray or HD-DVD? Will they both co-exist or will one eventually become outmoded. Therefore are you taking a risk buying a HD player at this stage? Perhaps wait and see which take off better ..Or will we own a player that can do both at same time? Any theories?
Answers: Rest assured they won't BOTH exist - just look at VHS and Beta - or even Philips and Grundig when it come to cassettes ! ! !
Great ask, but one that can't be answered at this time. It's reminiscient of the old beta vs. VHS video battle. Eventually VHS won. This time who know? Personally I'm holding out until the prices come down, regardless of what, if any, format emerges as the triumph. AND... the Japanese are working an another system that is supposed to be a thousand times better than any of the two current technologies.
