I'm not into electronics, but I really can't see one. I looked on Wal-Mart.com, and it seems similar to an Ipod is an MP3 Player sorta. I need to buy an Ipod for Christmas, but if an MP3 Player will do like peas in a pod thing for smaller quantity money, then that's the agency I want to go.

I won't buy anything that is made by Apple. Here's why... All Apple products including the ipod are "closed system". This mode that all the software, firmware, etc. is produced lower than strict controls by Apple engineers, i.e., if you want it you must buy it from Apple. Conversely, any mp3 player can be loaded with any mp3 music from any source at any time. More sources funds more choice and at a cheaper price.
