I found instructions for a laser listen device, but enjoy a problem...?

In the video and instructions( http://www.diylife.com/2007/08/22/diy-la... ), headphones are used that own a red coated wire, a white one, and a black one. I stripped my earphones and there's two wires, one for each ear. One have blue and copper strands, the other has red and copper strands. How do I telecommunication this to the photo cell?

Answers:    Do just similar to the instructions say. The colored wires are the audio signal leads-they connect to one side of the CDS cell. (You are combining both vanished and right channel + lead to make the audio output mono thru both headset.

The bare copper wires are the audio shield (ground) lead and they connect to the other end of the CDS cell.

The phones the author be using were already mono earpiece and therefore with the sole purpose had three wires. (Two audio hot lead and one common ground-You own stereo headphones but they can be wired for mono by connecting the not here and right + leads (insulated) to the signal output and connecting both ground wires (bare) to the signal ground.

Mind you-you're using a truthfully sturdy glass pane for a modulator-if it does work it'll one and only transmit the loudest sounds.
