What is the difference between digital and HD broadcast?
Answers: Tell you the difference 'technically'??
I can explain to you as a layman that digital is the signal and hd is the format.
Soon all TVs contained by the UK will receive a digital signal, no big deal, and unbelievably little cost to you.
Now recently my big feeble fat TV be on the blink, I had read adjectives about this different HD thingy, all these 'technical' experts be telling us how great it adjectives was, fantastic development in picture feature etc etc.
I already had a dish and on sky so I bought a digital TV HD all set , nice slim line piece big screen great picture, I am sunny with it.
So the other entity on my mind was HD that must be really great if it can even restore what I now own??
In the UK we dont have any HD broadcasts except via sky TV around lb250 for a little black box afterwards an extra subsciption of around lb10 a month.
OK I still wanted to see one within action, if it could revolutionize the great picture I have in a minute it must be great?
A trip around all the stores , a simple sound out, "Could you show me a working TV with a HD picture on it please"??

Then just today I be wandering around my local ASDA store they had a public sale HD DVD player under lb30, I go to have a look at one it be connected to a HD TV all the correct cable and it was playing a HD DVD , I looked at the picture point , nice big slim screen the picture be absolut cr*p!!
I called the 'technical' guy over, I asked "be this a HD picture on the screen"? He assured me it was, contained by fact he added "great picture isnt it"?
They can stuff it for me!!

hd broadcast is channel better picture than digtal and digtal is where you can procure your local channels similar to 13-01 13-02 13-03
