What is the best GPS for what I want?
I do not want to retribution extra for picture viewing.
I do not want to pay extra for any bluetooth stuff.
I do not want to settle up extra for any bells and whistles.
ALL I want is the MOST accurate MAPS.
And the "Turn here on X street" I really want no thing what. I dont want the "Turn in X yards"

It fits your specifications, is easy to use, accurate, and superb good point for money. I bought one a few weeks ago and have be nothing but impressed and joyful with it. It cost me $199 from Circuit City within a sale.

I'm curious as to why somebody give my answer a thumbs down. The C340 fits EXACTLY to what the asker requires, so what's the problem? Instead of just giving a thumbs-down, endow with some details WHY you did so.

All GPS systems will get you from A to B, but for road map, I prefer Garmin over other brands, for choice of routes and detailed directions. Garmin not only get you there, but also tell you if the destination is on the right or the left side of the road. Magellan does alike, but I think Garmin picks routes a bit better. TomTom doesn't. That can be paid a big difference if you are in a busy nouns, or are across a divided road, or are in an unknown place after dark.
The rest is easier. For the features you want (including reading street name or "text-to-speech"), and the ones you don't want, I'd say step with the nuvi 260. It sell for $264 on amazon right now. No MP3, no picture bystander, no Bluetooth, no other bells and whistles. The just thing I desire it had be a wider screen, which would kind it easier to type addresses and see map. Also, it doesn't come with an AC adapter and USB cable, which I imagine most people will want to own, and must buy separately. A small hassle.
