How to modify a walkie talkie to be charged direct from wall socket?

I have a Motorola Talkabout T9550. I do not necessitate it to be mobile and I do not care going on for warranty. Need to modify it, so that it uses electric power direct from the wall socket. Need to talk long time next to it.

Answers:    dangerous to do so. UL never tested it for that. You could end in a fire.
I agree with the previous answer... risky, do not do it!
