i have a 1979, midland 4001, im mounting it beside a 5a fuse, should i increase that? its on 12ga wire, and i suggest it only puts out 2-3watts, so i shouldnt hold a problem should i?

Answers: 5 amps for 3 watts is probably actually more later enough but so is 12 quantify wire. I can't suggest you use a fuse complex then what be originally rated for the system.
