Using electricity contained by Europe....what do I have need of to buy to charge my laptop?

So, soon I am going to Germany. I live in the U.S. and I'm bringing my Laptop computer and cell phone near me. I need to know how to use them so what do I need to buy so I can recharge them since Germany doesn't hold the same electrical outlets as surrounded by the U.S. I know I need an adaptor or something, but where on earth would I get it and what class do I need?

Answers:    It's uncomplicated enough to check for yourself. If you look at the power pack for your phone and laptop, somewhere on the label it will utter something like "Input 100V-240V" or "Input 100V-120V". If it have the first one, it is a dual voltage power supply, and all you stipulation is a 110V to 220V plug adapter (Be sure to specify that it is for Germany, since the outlets are not the same within all the European countries). You should be capable of get them at any wearing clothes electronics store. If you can't get one within the states, they are very glib to find here in Germany. If it have the second one, it is NOT dual voltage and you will need to catch a 220V power supply for that device. these can usually be ordered from the manufacturer, or you can return with a generic dual voltage power supply, just kind sure that you match the connector, output voltage and amperage.

By the process, I hope it's a tri-band cell phone, or you will run into issues, since the cell phones in Europe use a different RF frequency than the phones contained by the States.
Chances are you won't need a power converter because most laptop supplies are switching type supplies but you may want a receptacle adapter both of these are available at Radio Shack if you need them and I deliberate most big box stores sell them as powerfully (walmart, target, etc.)
