My Xbox 360's warranty is void it be dropped down stairs and came upen So calling microsoft is not an alternative. It plays misic good but saids"unplayable disk" when I put a team game or DVD in it. I know I could procure a new drive but I dont know how to flash them to play next to my Xbox 360. Is there a consistent part I can replace in the drive im fairly resourcefully at working on things of this sort. Any information would be great. Even if you have information on flashing the current drive.

i don't know if dvd's and hd dvd's use equal glass plate business process as cd's or if that is why it won't read dvd's, but i am interested to find out
