How do I verbs my videotape cassette into dvd's?

I hate have to put them into my video recorder to play them; how do I transfer them into a dvd disc that will consent to me watch them on my dvd player?

Answers:    Connect the output from your recorder to the input of a dvd recorder, hit play on the cassette electrical device, record on the dvd recorder and voila!
I own a Plextor PX-AV100U that connects to the video and audio output from a VCR or camcorder and feeds it into the USB port of my computer. The software that come with it annals to the hard-drive and then I can repress it and burn to a DVD. The program, WinDVDcreator, is easy to use but seem to take a long time to process files. Go to Plextor.com (I think) and you will find several devices that will convert composite video and audio. My element cost about $80.
