Does the Philips DVD/DivX Player PHL DVP3140/37 also play AVI files?

Yes it does as long as the avi have been encoded within a divx like compatible format....which pretty much the majority of the AVI video that I have currently downloaded inwardly the past two years enjoy played on this DVD Player....I think it is GREAT!
