1 GB Microchip that get drizzly?

I dropped my phone in the toliet, stupid I know. I took it out right away. And also within my phone was a 1 GB Microchip.
When I put the Microchip surrounded by the computer it says its fine, but I don't want to put it surrounded by my NEW phone if its going to damage it.
Is it okay?
