I was looking at absolute garmin and magellan portble gps products. I dont have a vehicle but would like a gps navigator that works all right in a coup¨¦ as well as walking. Is in attendance a difference between walking with them or driving?

Answers: No difference. The satalite system contained by the GPS figures out where on earth you are. If you walk or drive, it'll still pick up where on earth you are.
Garmin E-trex ,its inexpensive ,and will work either mode
