Trying to figure out my investigational HDTV. We have Dish see, a dvd player, a vcr and an onyko surround sound. Trying to amount out how to hook all of these up. It looks resembling everything is going to the tv in the pictures surrounded by the manual. But the instruction book doesn't say anything nearly a satellite box. Can somebody please help me trademark sense of this.
HDTV-samsung HL-T6187S
DVD player
Onyko surround sound
VCR
and as expected the Dish receiver box. (getting a fresh receiver on 1/30/08 the HD addressee. It looks like to me, run everything thru the spanking new TV..but alot of our componets don't have the HDMI slots. So unsure how to do this. HELP

Answers:    Set-top box (Dish), video - HDMI to TV - s/pdif to heir
(make sure audio over HDMI is PCM)
DVD Player - video - component (r/g/b) to TV - spdif to receiver
VCR - s/video (or pallid composite) to TV, analog audio to receiver

The above assumes adjectives audio (except set-top box which goes to both) is via the heir.
