Do I involve a landline to subscribe to Dish Network?

We currently do not have a landline, we use our wireless phones and enjoy cable for internet. After another cable hike surrounded by prices, I am looking to get Dish Network or Direct TV for our cable tv. Does anyone know how this would work? Do they lately charge us more?

Answers:    If your DISH receiver is not connected to a landline, they automatically charge you an extra $5 per month contained by a 'programming access fee' for each box within your home. Even if you never, ever use it to order special programs, you still own to keep paying the duty, Just In Case you might.
No extra charge with out a landline. The landline is solely used to order extra movies over and above the regular programming.
