What Is Roomba Weakness?
Answers: Roombas seem to work best on tricky surfaces. Carpeting, esp of the thicker pile variety, seem to slow them down. I don't know about the current contemporaries, but the early gen Roombas hold very small dirt receptacle, meaning it couldn't verbs a very dirty floor.
But I do close to the idea of setting my Roomba up and letting it run over the hardwood floors every few days, for frothy cleaning purposes. I'll drag out the canister vac w/ the beater brush for the carpeting.
When you vaccuum, the bulk of the effort is clearing the room for vaccuuming... you hold to do that before the roomba can do its article.
The Roomba also takes longer than a traditional vaccuum cleaner.
Short mobile life, (relatively), and it is not really a vacuum but a series of glorious speed brushes that really only achieve 'surface' dirt. No match for a legitimate vacuum cleaner. A novelty item.
