I need to find out where on earth i can get a CRAB box. CRAB stands for Crossover Re-Amplification something. If anyone know what the B stands for of where I can find one, U WILL SAVE MY LIFE! It is a piece of live sound equipment next to mulitple plug ins on top of it. You can plug contained by RCA cables, 1/4" cable, 1/8" ends (headphone jack size) and can control the volume (re-amplification!) through it. It will only own one XLR output (mic cable). THANK YOU!!
Answers: "B" stands for "box." Some are as simple as just electric wiring the jacks together. Others have the proper gain/attenuation stages and impedance congruent. I use Radio Shack 1000CT:8 audio output transformers for impedance matching and potentiometers for attenuation pad when I build them.
