How long does it take to charge the battery-operated of a camera for the first time?

I just bought a HP Photosmart R927 digital camera an I'm trying to charge the battery-operated, but in the Quick Start Guide it say:

"...The camera's blinking Battery Charging light indicates that the battery-operated is charging; the battery is fully charged when the flimsy turns on solid (approximately 2-3 hours)"

but I just connected and at hand is no blinking or anything!!

Should I wait till tomorrow to see if it starts to blink because the freestyle is brand new??

I don't know what to do because today I changed it for another one, same model, because it didn't charged and presently with this one it's duplicate it doesn't charge, is that normal, does society always enjoy to let it connected for close to 24 hours for the battery for charge when is brand clean??

please, I need aid

Answers:    That's gonna depend on what type charger, & what type battery. Different chargers charge at different rates. And different battery have different charging characteristics.

The guide, it will tell you what's recommended for that hard to please system.

A phone that I recently bough beside a nickel cadmium battery brand unknown out of the box required a first time charge of 18 hours!
How many times hold you asked this question already?

Just leave your job it plugged in adjectives night, it won't hurt anything. If you rouse up in the morning and unplug it and it still doesn't turn on consequently take the camera surrounded by and get it replaced because your battery's defunct.
I know this sounds dumb but did you in truth put the battery contained by the camera. I know someone who didn't.
