Can bleak weather affect wipe radio signal?

thanks

Answers:    Because DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) signals are digital, they are "less" susceptible to atmospheric and local weather conditions than are other radio signals, such as AM, FM and TV analog signals.

So, even though DAB signals may be feeble by heavy or severe weather, as long as the signal is strong adequate to be properly "detected" and "decoded", the weather will have drastically little effect on the audio quality. However, if the signal reach a "threshold" level that affects the receiver ability to forceful detect, decode and demodulate the signal, afterwards the quality will be degraded or even lost.
