Strange problem near vcr?

I've got a chance problem. Since yesterday I don't get a angelic signal from my vcr anymore on my tv.

- If I only connect the vcr to my tv, here is no problem. So, on my tv the channel for my vcr is common, and also is my vcr working fine (as long as I don't have the incoming cable connected to it.)
- If I verbs my incoming cable, it shows two channels. 1 is a disturbed vcr signal, the second is a low I never had up to that time. When I turn my vcr off, this subway is clear. When I put the vcr on, this channel is disturbed.

Now, I live within the Netherlands, in Rotterdam. I can not find anything almost a changing of channel, or the adding of a bright channel.

Could this be my incoming cable? I doubt it, because if I cartridge something and watch it hindmost (without the disturbing incoming cable), the program has be taped usually.

Am I correct if I conclude that in that must be a disturbing new incoming direct? Or is there an other possibility?

Answers:    Hi Sangre...

It sounds similar to you're picking up a disturbance somewhere and my guess is that it's your coax-cables causing this/picking it up... You're next to UPC, right? Call them and tell them you're suffering from "interferentie" on your coax-cables and they will dispatch you a free set of high element coax-cables for free... If you get someone who doesn't seem to be to know what you're talking going on for, tell them you're have problems with RTL4...

How long are the coax cable that you're using?

If new cable don't solve this I think you probably requirement a new vcr...

(I regard it might be Digitenne causing this, they're putting out hot masts almost every daylight and they are known to end in interference on coax cables, especially long cheap ones)

Owww, also, there's probably a place on your VCR and/or on your TV where on earth you can finetune the channel that your vcr "transmits" on and your TV "receives" on for your VCR... I believe this is usually "waterway 36"... try finetuning that! On your tv you're likely to do that next to the remote control, but on your vcr, if not the remote, it's probably a screw contained by the back of the VCR....
I would unplug the VCR for 10 minutes. This should clear the memory. Do you own the remote ? Have the TV set to view the VCR canal 1 set up should be easy.
