I have this problem. Whenever I kind a sound into my microphone, the nouns is projected through my speakers. How do I change my nouns settings so it doesn't do that?
Answers: Go into Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, and run Volume Control. A list of sliders should appear, and Microphone will be one of them. There should be a checkbox flecked 'Mute' that you can click on, and that will stop the mike from feeding stern.
What you really need to do is, after running Volume Control, be in motion into Options, Properties, choose the Playback radio button, and uncheck Microphone. Then choose the Recording radio button, and make sure Microphone is checked. This will stop the mike from going to the speakers, but you can still use it to journal and chat.
