Sansa, Ipod, or Zune?
I don't use a mac, and don't really like the Ipod's propriatary personality (on paper, never owned one).

Aside from some intermittent freezing that MP3 player is a slam dunk contained by terms of features and plus. It's plug and play too which is great and depending on which model you get you can expand the disk space next to microSD cards.
The iPod has a huge issue next to Fairplay/DRM that essentially forces you to use iTunes, and even goes as far as to spawn you buy the licenses for music you already own. Some CDs you already own might not work at adjectives if they're old adequate, it's really stupid. The Zune also has a moment or two bit of this but not nearly to the same extent.
You could also look at Creative Zens which is what I use primarily and I approaching everything about them except for their package software, which you don't have to use anyways.
i would bring back the ipod nano
