Is it dangroues to power up a T.V. next to a AAA battery-operated?

i know its possible ive done it but is it dangroues?

Answers:    Hard to say. You don't dispense details, but I assume you mean using a portable TV designed for use beside larger batteries and consequently you used an adapter to fit AAA batteries. This will work fine as long as the smaller battery-operated can supply the required current. Obviously, they will not last nearly as long as D battery, and are much less cost-effective.

As far as dodgy, I doubt it represents any sort of fire hazard and the voltage is too low for electric shock exposure. But if you've exposed high voltage electric wiring modifying it to use the AAA batteries, next that's a different story.

I also doubt there is any vulnerability of damage to the TV due to under-voltage. Portable TVs should own an automatic off element when battery voltage drops too low.
