CFL bulbs?
I hold those in my house and they hold busting. 4 have busted within the past 2 months. They don't in actuality explode but the glass to hand the bases keep cracking and then partly of it is not attached.
Anyone know why they keep doing it?
Answers: I own used CFLs in five lamp in my house for around a year, and haven't have to replace any. They should last a long time. Maybe you bought from a desperate batch. Try a different brand.
I agree beside HDN. I replace nearly every incandescent lamp surrounded by my home with CFL's. I reduced my electric bill 20%. I own never had one crack.
You don't say-so whether or not you have these mounted within any kind of fixture that might press up against the bulb. If so, it is possible that floor vibrations are shaking the fixuture and cracking the cup. I HAVE found that the glass is somewhat fragile, but as long as you don't stress them, the don't break.
