American DVD's compatible contained by the UK?
Answers: Unfortunately no (at least not usually). DVDs and DVD players are classified by region. The US and Canada are region 1, and England and the rest of Europe are region 2.
A DVD player made for one region can play singular DVDs made for the same region. In this grip, a player sold in England is potential to be made for region 2, and won't be able to play "a "Family Guy" DVD sold contained by the US, which is region 1.
There is an exception. Some DVDs and some DVD players are region "0", and work in adjectives regions. Region 0 DVD players are not common and are usually special ordered. Some DVD players on laptop computers are region 0, or allow you to choose their region (and metamorphose it a few times). You may want to check that out.
