Which GPS to buy?

I am thinking of buying a VDO brand GPS for hubbie for Christmas.Autobarn have a register feature of one(I regard it is a P1000) for $294.Is it simple to use? Any input or opinions would be greatly appreciated.


Answers:    The more expensive they seize the better but they can get expensive.Try and demo respectively one at a Costco,Circuit City or any other electronics store.You can get physical good deal.
