Do you involve an extra splash for a fax device??

Probably stupid question but I am unmarked to this....I just bought a fax piece of equipment....can I connect it to my phone line or do I entail to call the phone company up and bring back another line/number for it?

Answers:    You don't *need* it, but you won't be able to use the phone for voice while sending/receiving a fax.
As the other answer say, you don't 'need' another line. There are devices that allow you to share your voice procession with a fax electrical device. The fax machine may also know how to do this.
It depends on how much you use the line for voice and expect to use it for faxing. While your flash is in use for one it can't be used to the other. If you expect to distribute or receive a lot of faxes or own a lot of voice call or voice calls that are epic a second line may squirrel away you a lot of stress.
