Near total audible range loss to receive and hear phone conversations?

What have population with close by total hearing loss to receive and hear phone conversations?
My 84-year elderly grandmother is deaf in one ear and have near-total hearing loss surrounded by the other. She wears hearing-aids but can not grasp alot of words.
What appliances can you suggest (bonus: where can I purchase them online) that can assist within this particular situation? What can any one report me about the ((CapTel is a Telephone)) the cost and how all right it works? I miss talking next to my grandma...HELP PLEASE
